Thanks for putting it in MP3 format, Joes. Your belief in the supremacy of AAC encoding is debatable, especially with an all-spoken-word podcast, but I'm happy to have them in a format easily compatible with my player.

I really liked JJ Johnson and the Morning crew. I also really liked DREAD; Detroit Rockers Engaged in the Abolition of Disco. I’m really disappointed he turned out to be a rightwing tool. “The first shot fired in the second American Revolution?” Give me a break. He means the first shot fired in the 2010 mid-term elections. Just what we need in this blue state, another AM station with righting syndicate talk. Gee, there aren’t many of them around. I missed you guys at the convention. Maybe in August.

The Democrats “are hoping to chip away a few votes on the edges.” How? Chet Zarko is a waste of bandwidth, and his ego is as large as his waistline. Even if this were true, the claim of teabaggers is that their movement is nonpartisan. There is no way this will put a single candidate on the ballot. His attack on the Howell teacher’s will fail, too. He wasn’t doing it to find dirt? He is a liar. I was at the Court of Appeals where he lost, and it was very clear the issue belongs in the Legislature.

I like your show, but you are so misinformed on DRIC. So, we should walk over our best ally just to keep the monopoly for a rich billionaire? That makes no sense. Tax no Michigan taxpayer dollars will be expended on the DRIC bridge, not a penny. The people who use the DRIC bridge will pay for it. The toll revenue from vehicles that cross the bridge will pay for its construction. In addition, the Canadian government has offered to fund the construction of the bridge plaza and the freeway connection on the U.S. side of the border.

Joe, is there some way you can filter out the nasty buzz that is in the background of your podcast? It's especially bad at the beginning with the female voice-over. However, it shows up again whenever you two say an "s." It's so bad that I can't use my earbuds to listen to your podcast, which would be my preferred way. Are you familiar with Rob at Podcast 211 and Today in iPhone? He seems to have the audio down pat. Thanks!
